Sue Randall of Randall Farms grew up in Pike and earned a degree in horticulture from Alfred State. After jobs working in gardens and with dried flowers, she worked at the Cornell Cooperative Extension for 22 years as a food and nutrition specialist. After she retired, she and her husband Norm sold their Guernsey cows and put up some greenhouses. Now they sell bedding plants, perennials, fresh herbs and cut flowers at the market, along with the Perry and Angelica Farmers Markets. Sue’s daughter Emily works as an inspector for New York State Department of Agriculture & Markets and her daughter Nellie has a farm that provides the Geneseo Farmers Market with delicious chicken and duck eggs.
